While we explore the beautiful, coastal waters of St Pete, you can rest easy knowing that we provide a US Coast Guard-certified Captain that works hard so that you don’t have to.

The Woman Behind the Tiki

Courtney Osgood, a former TV journalist and bar owner, is now an award-winning publicist and tiki boat charter owner! Raised in Upstate NY, summers at the lake were a staple in her childhood and where her love of being on the water began.

Shortly after graduating college, she moved to Boston, MA to grow her career. Every winter, like clockwork, she escaped the icy grip of Boston, trading the bitter cold for the sun-soaked paradise of Florida. For over a decade, these annual getaways became the lifeline that kept her spirit soaring and her sanity intact!

In 2021, Courtney embarked on her next adventure halfway down the coast, channeling her passion and expertise in the hospitality industry to launch her very own cocktail lounge in the quaint, coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina. With each carefully crafted cocktail and every detail on point, she turned her bar into one of the hottest spots in town, captivating locals and visitors alike.

After building the nationally-recognized cocktail lounge and fry bar from scratch and turning it into a beloved local gem, she made a bold move in 2024—selling the business to chase new dreams under the sunny skies of Florida.

Having experienced tiki excursions in the past, when the opportunity to own her own boat business came across her desk, she knew it was time to start her next project!

Tropical Tiki Cruises is Courtney’s latest passion project that promises a fun, exciting and unique experience every time because well, frankly, she wouldn’t have it any other way! When she’s not busy booking tiki cruises, she’s helping small businesses scale and grow through her other business, CKO PR, a boutique public relations and hospitality consulting agency. #bookedandbusy!
